 SMG or anyone else

Some buddys and I have been trying to get this spearing trip together. I got ahold of the DNR in wisc for the legalities. But now I am looking for info on the tactical side of it. I am pretty much an idiot about it having not done it b4. I do know you use bigger spears but where to get them? other info as attracters, etc.? If anyone has any knowledge or knows someone who does, who would I get ahold of for info regarding such matters? Thankx
