Opening weekend on Ely Lakes
Despite a windy, cool, opening day, fishing was pretty good in the Ely area.  With the lower water temps, it was surprising that fish were being caught in shallow water, as a cold front normally sends them deeper.
The weather looks to be warmer for the next week, which should make fishing even better.  As I mentioned before, the water levels continue to be high.
