I'm not a bass fisherman at heart but we catch them when we are fishing for muskies on spinner baits and bucktails all the time.  White and firetiger seem to get the most with black holding its own.  The bigger fish are usually caught on the deep weed edges.
Good luck and post pics.

2 years ago I caught my personal best on a 2 ounce spinnerbait between the 2 marinas(6 lbs 14 ounces)

In the muskie section of gander, mills,or thorne bros.

The good thing about catching a bass on muskie gear, there is no need for a net.  My fishing buddy s@#t a brick when I lifted the fish over the side of the boat.  Bass are just bait in my humble opinion.

Well they are fun to catch. Casting spinnerbaits for bass (or pike) to me is like playing catch with a football - great fun. So are you talking about in-line spinners or safetypin? And heck maybe it doesn't matter.

I have just started useing inline spinners for bass again and i am useing smaller bucktails and other inlines and i have been impressed with how good they have worked for me but i will say they dont pull through the weeds as good as a regular spinnerbait
