If any of you are in the market for some new gear for the upcoming hunting season (or the fall fishing season)  Charlie’s 3rd Annual Sportsmen’s Flea Market might be your ticket to paradise. And by the way if any of you make it down there - please look me up and say hello.

Over a DOZEN VENDORS will be on hand selling new and used outdoor gear and equipment. Anything from duck boats to trail camera's to marine (boating) equipment to snowmobiles to firearms to ATV's to clothing to decoys and SO MUCH MORE...

This year, this event is being held the same weekend as the Scott-Carver Old Time Threshing which is held across the road from the fairgrounds.

Flea Market Hours: 8:00am – 3:00pm (Vendor Registration from 6:00am-7:45am)

Vendor’s/Outdoor Organizations/Outdoor Sports Enthusiasts will be selling their used/new outdoor related gear and/or equipment including camping, hunting, fishing, boats, trailers, snowmobiles, motorcycles, campers, firearms, ammunition, etc. ** Outdoor Clubs are invited to come promote their organization.

Vehicle Admission/Walk-in's: $3

Bring the kids…Bring the dog (leashed)….

**The Scott County 4H Shooting Sports Program is our food/beverage stand vendor for the day.  

100% of proceeds from space rental & admission directly benefit’s our 2012 – 4th Annual Operation Upland Pheasant Hunt & Sporting Clay Shoot for Minnesota’s returning Soldiers. Our 4th Annual OUPH will be held March 24, 2012 at the Caribou Gun Club in Le Sueur, MN.

That was funny. I thought everyone would have the Old Time Threshing extravaganza on their calendar.

Regarding Charlie"s. Had a great time. Nice bunch of people - made some new friends. I had 2 different groups ask me about selling the fish docks at their silent auction/fundraiser. I noticed a lot more gun stuff (and a lot of guns), than fishing stuff which of course made sense being it was a fund raiser for the local chapter of Pheasants Forever. Not sure how many shoppers attended - but it seemed like a steady stream of folks coming through. Maybe 500?
Number of vendors? Maybe 30?
Had a lot of fun selling Fawkinnae stuff and watching people try to figure out what it says - and finally getting it, as evidenced by the big grin on their face. Often followed by a lively conversation. My little sister helped me out. She's amazing and a much better salesman than I.
