Finally shot my first Robin Hood today while my son and I were out shooting at the 20 Rifle & Gun Club in Owatonna.

I had one about 4 or 5 years ago. Brought it to work to show off and a guy says, you know what you have there? I said a robin hood. He said no, 2 wrecked arrows. Burst my bubble.

That is very true, but it is still nice to know you can shoot consistently enough to do it. I've only been shooting since about April so I'm pretty pumped even if I did just shell 2 arrows.  :happy1:

Good job the first one is exciting after that it get expensive! But now you have to try for a double!

Yah, it's pretty neat to be able to achieve it once, but I won't be actively trying to repeat that...I agree, arrows get expensive.

Same as others have said.  Congrats.  Just be mindful of the cost.  I've done three of them over the past year and I kick myself over the cost.  But, I'd rather have a Robin Hood over embedding an arrow into a backstop or lost due to the arrow penetrating through because of a bad backstop.  In the last year, I've had to replace a dozen arrows.   :censored:

Nicely done!  I just got my first one tonight too!  I was paper tuning my bow, got frustrated and decided to shoot my sons' bow this year. Paced off 20 yds, set out a flashlight to illuminate the target and stood on the porch to shoot.  Last week I ruined a lighted nock, so this time I shot a normal-nocked arrow first and my lit one second. It sounded funny when it hit and my wife said "You are NOT spending our anniversary money on new arrows!".  I guess I'll just have to use her birthday money. hehe
