here we go

i got out of school early friday to go up and hit the woods i could have rifle hunted MN but i wanted to bow hunt my favorit stand. so i take a quick shower in scentkiller dress (forget to spray down) and walk out with my PSE in hand. I get out to my stand and get comphey but its all i had time to do about 30 min later he came by a nice semetrical 8 point or so i thought he was going threw at 30 yards when he was behind the tree i pulled back my bow he didant even look my way he was about 15 yards from being ddw so i knew i had to take him when he came into the clearing. i released to early i shot him in the neck arrow didant go threw so i knew i had to hit a bone. i was pissed i released early i sat there and thought about what my odds were of finding it and 45 min later the buck i posted in "how big is this buck" thread walked bye at 23 yards. lets just say hes about 5 inches taller and about 5 inches wider than the deer i just shot in the neck. so i go in after dark and talk about where i hit it. the next day i wake up early to go track. about 100 yards from my stand there was his first bed and when he got up the blood practicly stoped so my dad stayed on the bood and i did a small circle probobly 30 yards and all of a sudden i got on good blood again and i walked it towards my dad and picked up what clotted it when i found that i knew i would find this deer it was just how far. he was only about 30 yards away from there when i saw him i was so exited because alls i could see was his massive body (bigger than the other buck i saw) and his rack hanging over him. he turned out to be a massive 9 because he had about a inch 1/2 or 2 inch kicker by his base. he was trying to grow crab claws but couldent in the end my pse did the job and alot of carnage. when we cleaned him it looked like i shot him with a 30-06. my arrow went in right before his shoulder (left side) and got stuck in the back of his right front leg. i still have a chance to get the WI giant during rifel season wich starts in 2 weekends.
