idk
so a guy who works for my dad told me sompthing that really tics me off

his fiances dad smelt sompthing funny and told him. so he went out and looked for it and found a deer just a few yards onto there property shot during archery season. he could see the hunters stand on the other property only 20 yards away. this guy had to watch this deer fall down. it was a spike buck with about 6 inch tines and the guy just left it sit there and rot.

my guess is that 1 he didant have a buck tag or 2 he didant want to use his buck tag. this was irresponsible and there going to try and talk to the hunter if they can find him.

I would not jump to conclusions.  A deer can go 100 yards with a solid vital hit with a rifle or slug.   That is one of my dislikes of deer hunting.  I have had heart shots where they drop on the spot but only a few.  I will not archery hunt because of the chances of less than ideal hit and having to track the animal for ever.  I would not link the stand to the deer, especially if the hunter is an archer.  That is just my opinion which comes from a deflected bullet from a muzzy and a 3 hr. drag.

He found the arrow not broken so if they see him there they will know Foresure because of arrows and broad heads

I agree, he probably shot thinking it was a doe and didn't want to tag a small buck.  I don't understand why he didn't take the arrow?  Maybe he has other stands nearby?  Can you tell where it was hit? gut? vitals?  There are a number of scenarios that could have befallen this buck.

that still doesn't mean he shot it from that stand 20 yards away. don't be so quick to judge. one day the same could be thought about you.
