We just weighed a 9 lb Walleye, the pic will be on our face book page later.
The fishing down at Crane Island is still fast and furious, Crappie limits in a half hour or less along with a good Walleye bite in the bay to the east.
The West public access is still the most easy to access entry on the lake with good fishing with in walking distance. The crappie bite is still best at 30 to 40 feet of water right on the bottom to 15 feet suspended depending on the conditions.
Walleyes and Perch can be found along the structure of the islands.
Northerns are being caught at all depts but best in shallow waters.
We still have very good ice reports, 8 to 10 inches in the bays and 6 to 8 inches on the main lake.
Have a HAPPY AND SAFE NEW YEAR, your friends at the Rush Point Store!
