A Rock Bass Challenge! What a Great Idea Great! We would have to be careful though, Lee comes from Rock Bass heaven where he lives. Might have an advantage on us Northern guys. But then again it might give DDS and the General a chance at the belt! I even hear HD has a few in his pond so mayve we could get him to enter. We could offer maybe one of them 4" rapala knifes as a prize!!

I will ACCEPT this side-CHALLENGE.....   May the biggest Rock Bass win.   Im assuming same rules as the 2012 Challenge! :fishing2: :fishing2: :fishing2:

So now we need the unofficial official Rockbass Challenge. Great what do you think, same rules as the big challenge but the min will be.    Hmmm ....... 8 inches this will give General and DDS a chance to at least post a fish.  If no one objects I will judge the entries and we will keep them out of the big challenge so as to not interfere..

  I am in the team challenge.  My fishing time is limited.  I simply prefer to walleye fish when I have the chance.  I will, because of the team challenge fish for pike and bass if my team needs one.  I will not fish for them on a side bet because the team victory is more important to me.  It takes 3 trophies to win the team challenge.  I will fish for what ever my team needs at the time.   The side bets only distract from the team challenge.  Each team needs a big walleye and once we get one I will move onto the next species even if I didn't catch it.    I will put my walleye up against GOs.  I don't think that will distract from the team challenge.  He will win if one of my team members pops a monster right away cause I will be moving to the next species.  Simple as that.

 

  A couple of the elders on the site have a little hard understanding english.  I suggest you have one of the great grandkids read this post to you Real slowly!!

I cannot lower myself to enter a Rock Bass competition, just suggested it for those that cannot catch a fish large enough to enter in the "Big Boy Competition!" (guys like Bobby, DDS, and others too numerous to mention)
As for a 16 year old, I think that's great for them to have a goal in life, no matter how low, and a chance to win something.
Rumor has it that Corny hauled in a 3" Mud Minnow in another contest last year after a 2 hour fight, and is trying to move up!

The judges for the team challenge will be busy enough the way it is.  Best get that all set up before committing to any side bets.

I don't think it will be to hard to run the side bets and not bother you at all. DDS huffs and puffs about how hard side bets would be, but just post the damn fish like everyone else does and it's good to go.

DDS just doesn't want the 3 fish side bet with me, and can't say as I blame him!

It was probably the biggest fish he ever caught, and got him wet while it was thrashing around uncontrollably!!
I certainly wouldn't post a picture of myself holding a Rock Bass on any forum, let alone smiling just like I caught a real fish!
OH YEAH!!
