For a returning champ, I expected more. Your "eye" had no shoulders. Look familiar?

The older they are the not so good looking they look!!!     And good look is not going to win this Challenge it how long they are!!!  

                                             I would expected more out of a repeat challenger to know this!!    

 I've seen Walleyes longer than what you posted and they didn't look scrawny like yours. Nice try...  

Maybe it's just the Walleyes in your lake that don't look good.

   Team Avengers have moved on.  We don't talk walleye any more.  That baby is signed sealed and delivered.

Wildlife Minnesota is going to be hurting this year.   We had over 70 eyes that came aboard and only 13 we're keepers.   More than 1/2 were over 22"    I'm thinking   I wanna use the filet knife on those little "keepers". Team 12 is going to be bouncing from the bottom to sparkling like a lit bobber on top.
And Corny, you're right. That was one sickly looking fish. We're walleye fishing here not eel fishing.

  just wondering... would a college student look like an  if they went around bragging that they beat a kid in 1st grade in a spelling bee? Just wondering cause I've only fished for walleyes 3 times. How many times have you?

8. All local and State fishing rules must be adhered to in the catching of fish, Smallmouth Bass must be in season. No illegal means of harvesting will be accepted. Catch and release rules/seasons are OK for contest. Bass cannot be posted before the scheduled opening date.

Judges should at least know the rules. Not only is the bass season open in northern MN but it is also open in other states. The Challenge has always been open to anyone who wants to enter a fish caught legally, even if on vacation in Canada. The season dates are not what is legal in MN but what is legal where the fish is caught.

As for being an advantage to us northern folk we are getting snow up here when you are still fishing in shirt sleeves down south come fall.
