Anyone have plans?Last weekend we saw a major wad of snow geese pickup on sunday and head north in northwest missouri,1000's upon 1000's,I'd say close to 100k and they never returned,as part of the flock pasted our field we had a coulpe of good vollies, reloaded twice, multipal birds with each shot because the flock was so thick, the following day reports came in hot and heavy from south dakota that the birds were jumping the border, same reports from nebraska,no snow line to hold them back this year so they're on the move.

I suspect with the cost of gas this spring we'll see less hunting pressure as well, which is a good thing.

FYI

Might be the fastest migration I've seen since the spring season started, still an outside chance of a major late march snow storm to push them back, but doubtful.Sure hope this summer like weather isn't a taste of a long hot summer this year!
