I read this and don't know what to really think. He is partly right. I don't know of a single person that wants to get a dog. I have personally changed some methods of trapping even though never having incidently caught one. The part where I disagree with him is on responsibility. Yes trappers hold some responsibility but so do the dog owners. I am a dog owner as well as a trapper an my opinion is if there is a piece of meat on the ground and you tell your dog to come but he goes and grabs the piece of meat first you have no reason to blame the trapper for lack of control of your dog. Now given that I'm not trying to put blame on dog owners but honestly most dog owners are not responsible pet owners. I know this might not be a popular responsebut I have never once heard of a properly taken care of pet killed or injured from a trap.

So now people can rip on me but I will have your answer.
