:reporter;Compromise fee increases in bill, not early fishing opener.

ST. PAUL - Minnesota’s hunting and fishing license fees would increase and wolves could be hunted and trapped under a compromise that state House and Senate negotiators have worked out.

Why not allocate Legacy money? It also looks as if boat owners need to take an invasive species course before you can move your boat.

          - Establish a course in preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species, especially dealing with moving of boats from one body of water to another. A boat owner who completes the course would get a decal that would be needed before a boat could be moved.

It looks like that is part of the Legacy bill.  What a crock.   :banghead:

I am willing to bet the "Course" will be something on line that will last a few minutes with a couple of questions that you can answer till you get them right. DNR already has a few instructional videos on their site. No one is going to have to go to school. :coffee: if they did it every time you had to renew your boat registration that would be doable. Would be better then just picking up a decal from a rack.

"A boat owner who completes the course would get a decal that would be needed before a boat could be moved."

So, just were does the boat owner put this decal, on his forehead?  If it's on his boat, does that mean only he can move it?  What if he wants to move a friends boat?  What if his wife is moving his boat?  Way to many issues here.

Well it always starts out as a little thing like a sticker.  Pretty soon it will be hiring certified trained staff with a degree in invasive species that have to be hired to transport your boat.   ;)
