LOTW Report 5/7 /2012
Anglers are still catching some big sturgeon at the mouth of the Rainy River.  Monday the 7th is the last day to keep a sturgeon, but catch and release continues through the walleye opener.  

We had a group of women fishing this weekend as part of a DNR program to get more women active in the sport.  The guides gave a nice presentation and then took the group fishing.  It was the first time for a lot of the women and they boated some nice fish.  Everyone had a great time!

The summer is filling in quickly, so make your reservations now!  Forecast shows a chance of showers throughout the week.  The opener on Saturday is likely a high in the 60s and mostly sunny skies.  It should be a fantastic weekend!
