   I like it.  I wonder if that would work after grilling.  I will certainly give it a shot.

I thought everyone knew about this trick. I would add that I always awater down the ears a little before nuking them. Grilling not so good as you tend to burn up the husk and it becomes brittle.  But it does work slick
