Those are cold shots one I visulize a grouse with a flu flu arrow the other  a deer. I have shot a bow for over 30 years .I have beeen shooting two arrows a day for 2 weeks. No sights.  My high lite bow  hunting was when I shot a grouse in the air with a flu flu arrow. I hope to repeat that again

Went out this morning to do some scouting from the truck.  Seen 3 does 1 fawn and 4 buck (2 that i would probably stick).  All within a 1/4 mile a my stands.  Man I'm getting the itch bad. 19 day 16 hours

lentz 100% of the time that your in the treestand and you shoot at a deer its a cold shot. your first and second shot are your most accurate.

i cant wait for the season to get here! i have one more stand to hang on friday, then im good to go!!!!! in the mean time i guess i can occupy myself with early goose season and some doves

We removed deadfalls and mowed about 1/4 of our trails.  Still on the "to do" list is clearing and mowing the remaining trails, making one new spur (about 200 yards), building 3 new stands, and putting up 3 ladder stands.  The mowing and clearing should be done before bow hunting starts but the other stuff will most likely be done after hunting starts.
