youth hunts

We got great news!  Kid #1 was drawn for the youth archery hunt in camp Ripley and also the youth rifle hunt in st crouix park.  Ripley hunt is the first weekend of Oct.  and the rifle hunt is the last weekend of Oct.   We were also invited to hunt on some private land which we describe as a deer mecca the 3rd weekend in Oct.   I will be using up a whole lot of fun points with the  in the month of Oct.   

Then comes the month of Nov.  3 3 day weekends up at deer camp. 7 out of 8 weekends deer hunting.  Do you think I should ask if I can go hunting the second weekend of Oct. as well?

Sounds like you have the start of a good plan going there.  How can you neglect your golf game like that?

I would wonder if the  actually will enjoy your abscense more then you think!!!!!!

you can always tell her your spending quality time with the kids!!!

and if that doesnt work............ yep i'd ask if she minded if ya hunted that 2nd weekend of oct!!!

Since I hurt my shoulder I haven't picked up the clubs. O well they will have to wait until spring.   I just asked about the second weekend and she about flipped out on me. I qhickly brought up your point glenn and she just laughed and said ya right more like a vacation from your honey do list. I quickly brought up that the last was already done. Her response was. Its never done and I am still adding to it.  I think now is not a good time to ask ask to go fishing next weekend
