There are six deer in this photo.  The photo was taken yesterday morning at 9 am.  I got to the stand at noon.  Go figure.

I think there's six only looking on my phone but I think that's one behind the tree on the right side

Besides the 4 obvious ones, there is one just above the rump of the second deer from the left.  I have the camera set to take two picture each time it is triggered. I do this for a couple reasons.  First of all one picture is almost always better than the other, secondly, if there is nothing obvious that triggered the photo, I can flip between the two while looking for a subtle change somewhere and lastly it does give you a sense of where the deer came from and went to.  In the above photo, a sixth deer "appeared" in the second photo. Look at doe on the right side of the photo.  She is looking to our right.  Just above her nose you can make out the rump of a deer behind a tree. On carefull inspeciton, you can just make out the head and ears on the left side of the tree.
