I thought the Barbies went with the TROPHY!!!   Fawk.. I liked your idea that its a traveling trophy for whoever wins the MVP Smackdown.... but if you feel the winner of the ROCKBASS CHALLENGE  deserves it...Im ok with that!

I think it needs a good home like with someone with a nice trophy room. Then again it would also look nice hanging in a bait & tackle shop some place in Ely for example. A dentist office would be a novel Idea. It could be mounted on the ceiling directly above the patients recliner to take his mind off the pain.

  I think it should be treated as a piece of history.  Fawk should sign it and pass it on to whomever he wants.  The next guy keeps it for 2 months then awards it to whomever he sees deserving.  Each winner must sign it before he chooses the next winner.   The winner must say the reasons he is sending it off to the next.   For example-   Fawk-  " I hear-by relinquish the most sought after trophy MNO has to offer to the General.  Here at MNO we want everbody to feel like a winner.  We all want to recognize that some    just might need a little more help than others.  It was a toss up between The General and Corny13.  The fact that Corny13 actually wants the thing left him out or the running this time."    Who knows,  100,000,000 years from now it could turn up under a melting glacier(from the impending global, cyclical, cooling and warming of the earth. SUV's or not).  It could be an artifact perplexing future historians as to who were the signers.     An old MNO column was discovered recently..My hieroglyphic translation come out to be something like-Obama care bad.  Guns good.  APR good and bad.  We should not let our ancient MNO ancestors legacy stop in this generation.

Great idea, DDSBYDAY.  Sort of like the sister hood of the traveling pants.  Only this would be a traveling trophy to held and cherished by the recent.  When every someone is deemed to have done something worthy of the trophy, it can be awarded and sent.  Perhaps a log book would go with it to record it's adventures.

   Just have the person who has it in his possession assign it for whatever reason you choose.  I think each holder of the valued trophy should have to sign it before passing it on.

So I think you're saying that since I have it in my possession - it starts with me and I can assign it to anyone I like.

I can't even begin to describe the powerful feeling that is coursing through my loins right now. It's like nothing I have ever felt before. Arnold Swarzenegger, Lance Armstrong, Adrian Peterson, I'm guessing these men may have experienced something, some tingling similar to what I'm feeling.

I want you to know this, I also feel a great responsibility and I pledge to you that I will take this endeavor seriously and carefully select the first "Rock Bass Trophy" recipient.

Good idea DDS, except for the fact I've actually won the Eastwood vs Wayne challenge and I kicked Bobby's  in our head to head challenge, I won out on Minnewaska ice fishing that year but chose to not enter the bass I caught so the youngster in the group could win the cash.  Not only that I did all those things on my own I didn't have Wildlife win something for me.  However you were a good mascot for Team Avengers.

P.S. Wildlife did win the fastest man on the ice award that day though when he would keep running for the hills when my tip-up siren would go off.  I'll give him that.

With all them wins you think you would have a fishing challenge under your belt but you just have Bobby Bass side bet

Can't you read Wildlife?  I also have the MOST important challenge the Eastwood vs Wayne win.  This was far more important to me then any other challenge.  However I do feel bad for the guy representing Wayne.  With the skills or lack there of he should have been representing Festus not the second toughest cowboy.

Well either DDS or Wild are going to be losers in this years challenge but I guess no matter what the final score is they will say they won. 

I wore my cowboy hat to the challenge, Fawk and I fished in my house, I had my limit of Crappies in a half hour and was out on the ice having a brew with the rest of the gents.  You on the other hand were hovered over you hole trying to catch fish.  I'd call that a win for Eastwood in my book.  It's ok though little Festus you did get to learn how the master gets it done.  Hope you took good notes.
