Willy I have a secret lake where the 16 inch crappies are common, the 11 inch perch will never make the cut anyway.  When are you going to post a fish?  Or are you still working on your wifes trophy room addition?

I should be able to hit secret crappie hole next week.  The lake just now has walkable ice on the main lake. I have to walk through a narrow channel to get to the spot.

Do not trouble you little head about me posting a fish, you see them soon, you best think about your team,    I have no excuse as we will be in the lead soon,  I am just letting my team mates take the lead first, so they can enjoy them self in the challenge

they will have back up, as I will not be dead weight like some on here!!!!

    I made a bad call and have fixed it.    guys.  Taking the  is part of the contest.  The leader board will be updated sometime tomorrow.  I screwed up.   I can't say it won't happen again  .  I can say if the pic is bad the fish won't be scored from now on.   It's my fault.  I hate to see a nice fish not be able to be entered.  The good news is the  is finally here so the rest of us can finally get on the ice and get into the game.   Team Nils Master Auger you have lots of time to go get another big one

  If the  meets these requirements it will then be scored.

          HEY!!!      Unfortunately  Judge Fawkinnae had to take a little time off from judging.  He tried medications first.  Corny13 turned him on to MINK OIL.  That got him through the freshwater challenge.  He now is in a nice padded all white room.  Right next to the General.  Both of them are scheduled for release right before the Eelpout festival.  HD, , not so lucky.     Their conditions for release are that  they can go 5 minutes without yelling NO MORE CRAPPY FISH PICTURES WILL BE SCORED EVER!!  To be quite honest I feel their pain.  Rather than end up with them  in the "Borgersen On The Edge Ward", or even worse with HD in the "Bobby Bass Ward Of No Return" .  I am going to enforce the rules.  They are very clear.  They always have been.  Everyone listen up because it goes for the fresh water contest as well. 

    Catch the fish and take a good  .  I know it's hard.  It's hard for everybody!!    I believe and trust everybody.  It's not about that.  I hate to see a great fish not scored because of a bad  .  Rather than find myself next to Fawkinnae and the General in the rubber room,  I am changing my tactics.  I am going to list the three things that I will be looking for.  HEY!!!

  Step 1.   Entire fish in the pic. Hey!!!
                 Hey!!!  MNO staple item  with appropriate message
                 Ruler Hey!!!, measuring tool of some type next to the fish.

Step 2.

  If step 1 is accomplished then the scoring will begin.    Take a pic that is directly above the fish with the nose of the fish at the beginning of the measuring device.   You will be rewarded  2 bonus points if the fish can be scored from your nice high resolution picture.  If you insist on using a cell phone but met requirement #1 the judges will do our best to score it.  We will do this by cropping your  .  The start of the crop will be the end of the ruler.  The end of the crop will be the tip of the tail.  If the fish and tape are angled the tape wins.  That's it.   Heartless but consistent.   I will be posting some pics as examples.  Fawk and the General could not take the  .  I want the scoring to be easy and the only way to do it is consistency.   

  3..  If you have made it this far then I salute you.  You have accomplished a very difficult task.  It is not easy to take an accurate picture especially if you are by yourself.  Do your fish justice.  Take a nice  .  Most of us that have done this a couple of times have learned the hard way.  It can be done quickly, and efficiently.  From here on in there is only 1 thing you need to remember.  Good fish/bad pic=too bad.   

          I feel so much better now. Hey!!

     I just got back in town from a trip to the "Lake Of No Fish".  I will catch up on scores and the leader board tomorrow.   The lake almost lived up to it's name.      The perm is out and the ice should be drive able by next weekend.  10 inches right now.
