As most of the veterans to these contest know, catching the fish is only part of the contest.  Getting a good picture with the fish on a ruler with the staple item is no easy task.  The ice pictures have a new set of problems.  Camera lens fogging up, camera freezing up ect.  Cell phone pics work sometimes but more often than not they won't be readable.  If the judges can not see the whole fish in the picture it will not be scored.  If the staple item is missing it will not be scored.  Please take several pics from directly above the fish for the most accurate measurement.  Submit your best picture to be scored.  The higher the resolution the better so that we can zoom in on the numbers and score it easily.   There will be 2 judges for this contest.  Judge Lentz and Judge dds.  We will only be able to score what we can see so make those pictures count.

Good luck everyone.  Be sure to review the rules for this year.  There have been some new rules added.  The contest starts December 1st and end Feb.28th.  The staple item will be announced before the contest starts.
