Hey, what can I say, I still get rockin whenever I see those slabs. Couple of oldtimers, about 75, stopped me on the lake today while I was pulling a house. Asked where to go, I said about another 3 1/2 miles. They went there , set up and caught 8 , all 13 1/2 to 15 inches. They were so excited they had to stop on the way out and tell me all about the day. Said they never caught crappies so big.  Let me tell you , thats what it is all about , that certainly made my day. An the lake really did let out a big ol rumble  at the pressure ridge today. Had to move the bridge, but all is good again.

the reports are coming in little by little now.
it's hard to imagine how just a few good reports can create a wave of cash flow much needed for the buisnesses in the waskish and surrounding areas.

give me a half dozen crappies, two walleyes and maybe a tangle with a 40 inch pike, and I would call that a good day!!

thanks for the report PFTF
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

The soonest I can head up is Feb 23rd for our company fishing trip.  We were there last year and never caught a slab.  But it was truely nice just to get out.  A buddy and I are contemplating bringing a portable to try a few spots of our own.  I do have to commend WW though-them boys moved our house 2x and tried to get us on some fish.  And they did-but they were all eyes.  Now this year we get to keep a couple! (2- under 17")   ;D  Maybe this time I can run into an IBOT and clamp on!?

Yes woody bring the portables.  I don't think we ever had to much luck catching crappies in the hard sides.

KEEP THOSE SLABS marked Jeff...  I can't wait for the 19th to roll around so we can put those on some film.

Can't wait to get up there, it is looking like I will be up there consecutive weekends as well!
