Yes, both are labs.  The dark one is a red phased yellow lab from Turkey Creek Labs in SW MN named Where the Red Fern Grows - AKA Fern and the other is Corky.

Just a question but why way up at Iffie, border country and you are passing a lot of grouse country to get way up there.
maybe you could put me on a better place.....I'm just trying to find a good place to make a trip. we are running out of birds where I live......hunt all week and maybe flush one bird
I'm 66 and good level grouse country appeals to me.

This was on public (WMA) land in Lincoln county.  This past year was a tough year.  Not many birds at all.
