Hey guys!

My wife & I moved up in October from Georgia due to work.  We spent about 2.5 years down there, originally from Virginia.

Very excited to be in MN - we're in Elk River & so far we love the snow.  I could do without the -10 degree mornings but the 20-30 degree days have been bearable.  We were fortunate enough to start house hunting in the late summer and moved here in the early fall.

Looking forward to learning the area!

Welcome, There are many great people on this website.  The only bad question is one that isn't asked.

Welcome ekim22, There are tons of knowledgeable people on here and a few of them I believe are from Biglake/ Elk River area.  Its gonna be a couple years before you get use to the - degree weather.

Hello and Welcome!! I'm yer neighbor to the north in Zimmerman. Been living here for 10 years and I'm originally from Canada....don't hold that against me though :rotflmao:. And personally, I like the -cold weather :happy1:, a little taste of home. I fish and hunt locally so any questions can be shot my way if you like.
Going South......in a manner of speaking!

Thanks for the welcome guys.  I don't mind the temps to much.  We enjoy the snow since it was always a treat for us to get snow down south :)
