Fishing season starts for me now, with the birth of the latest addition to the Bass school    ( The daughter was two weeks late) we can now get down to some fishing   :fishing2: and shaking up the leader board some. Looks like a good year for big pike and with Deadeyes big bass it just goes to show the big fish are prime to get caught.    My fishing partners have assured me that they too are gearing up for some fall fishing    so it is time to make a few waves.    Looks like the big storm has never happen. I still have some of them special DDS lures from last summer, think I will use them to "Bury the storm" with

    Congratulations on the new addition to the family.  I would suggest you just keep yourself safe and stay down in the basement of the leader board with Lee.  The storm is just starting to brew.  It's going to be a  nasty one.       Greatoudoors has even dug himself a storm shelter under his porch.  It might have kept borgie out but if the storm can't blow it down we flood it out.

You. Are lookn    when u can't even get your Life partner on the board for the Walleye Warriors.    Yes she caught some small ones early...I am beginning to wonder what kind of  :fishing2: guide she is using??

I haven't been fishing for one month, which is lucky for the rest of the Challenge (boat and dock issues, soon to be over and the Assassins will again be kicking some butt!)
WalleyWoman is still trying to save the Community Center from demolition! 
As soon as she realizes the futility of her ways, she will hit the lake again, but probably won't catch much if I can help it!

I've been after Lee to get my photos out of the camera and up on the challenge board. He seems to have other priorities every time I bring it up. I was going to threaten to stop cooking until he posts my fish. Then I realized that won't work since he does all the cooking anyhow.

   Perhaps Lee will be the recipient of the Borgie Beatdown of 2013.     Could sitting in last place with no fish entered be better than taking your best shot and having Borgie with only a couple  of hours on the water putting the Louisville slugger to your chance at an MNO Challenge championship?      I guess only time will tell.       


    We might just have to have a Borgie Beatdown traveling trophy for one unlucky fisherman in the challenge.  Greatoudoors seems to have gotten a little motivation from winning it two years in a row.

This year while out in the boat an ankle bitter kept buzzing around Borgie.  She had her sunglasses resting on the top of her cap and she got pixxed off and swung her cap at the annoying fly and smashed him against the side of the boat. Unfortunately she also smashed her sunglasses as half of them flew into the lake.

Being in a state of fear I promptly offered her my sunglasses to settle her down. You see it's all in knowing the way to handle your women.

Hmmm,
GO was edged out by the Borgster two years ago when his alzheimer's kicked in and he failed to put the indicator in the picture, costing SealTeam 6 a 2nd place finish.
The team GO was on last year (Legion of Doom)  thumped the Borgster, and looks like it will happen again this year, making me 2-1 against her.
DDS on the other hand, will be 1-2 against her after this year's challenge is over!
Talk about a Borgie Beatdown, DDS's head has more bumps than a rumble strip on any major highway in the U.S.!
