MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The state Department of Natural Resources is closing down an infamous southern Wisconsin nude beach on weekdays.
 
Nudists from around the country have been traveling to the beach near Mazomanie for decades. The DNR has been struggling to curtail sex and drug use at the beach for years. Wardens arrested 26 people for illicit sex and 16 people for drugs during just nine days of surveillance in 2011.

The agency announced Tuesday it will close the beach, surrounding islands and wooded areas on weekdays beginning immediately. The beach will remain open on weekends from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Warden Nate Kroeplin says DNR records indicate most of the illegal activity takes place on weekdays. :rocker;

Rumor has it that several members of MNO had been arrested here in the past. The names of these specific individuals should kept confidential. Well, unless DDS wants to revel the rest of the guys in his group that were caught along with him. :popcorn:

I would say the dnr is jumping the gun a little,never seen a nude beech with 3' of snow on the ground! Besides its a bit "nippley" out there right now (pun intended)

theres a joke in here about "ice holes" somewhere.. but I'm just too tired to rattle it out right now.. something about drilling an ice hole or destroying your auger on an ice hole..
