I went out today with my son.  We heard some gobbling but didn't see a turkey, that is until we left the blind.  The birds were over at the other end of the field we were on.  One group of three and another of seven.  All toms I believe.  Lots of long beards.  My brother in law is going hunting tomorrow so being a nice guy, I told him just where to setup to bag one of these big guys.  We did see 4 deer from the blind so it wasn't all for naught.  The deer didn't like my turkey decoys.

The two deer didn't know which way to go.

This one came to checkout the decoys but didn't like something.

I doubt the deer busted us.  Wind was in our favor and they keep looking at the decoys.  Head bobbing and foot stomping.  Ticks are plentyfull.  I usually ware Elimatic pants and shirt during this time of year.  Seems to work pretty good.
