Great idea, but I'm just not too sure about walking around with a bunch of plastic cups taped to my hat.

 My kids said the same thing when I wore it to the beach. 15 min later they all changed there tune and were fighting over the hat. I got the last laugh

  those kinda look like deer flies.????? they work for black flies? how bout them ankle bitin S.O.B.'s when your in the boat. does it need to be attached to a hat. how bouts a baseball hat.

just don't ever put a flea and tick collar on yourself... had a guy do that in the military just on top of his boot..  was sicker then ever with a nasty rash from his ankle up past his knee

Put a cardboard tube over your pedistal under your seat and attach the fly tape to said tube.

That hat is pretty darn funny...

Have a friend here in Hugo who invented the "deer fly patch" you can find them locally or online,not quite as colorful as the cups tho...lol

Walmart in the grocery dept.  I just use the fly strips to wrap around my tubes for my pedestal. I save the round cardboard from paper toweling, spray paint them flo yellow and then wrap the fly strip around them. You can buy the fly strips 4 for 50 cents at  Menards when on sale. When you are done for the day just toss in the trash. Yellow is used as that is what works best in the greenhouse to attract bugs.
