ok lets keep the mind on hunting season as it approaches. what is everyones broadhead of choice and grain. and a brief explanation why you like that one.

Mine is the rage 2 blade 100 grain 2" cutting diameter. I don't normally like mechanical broadheads and I was against these to begin with because of some bad experiences, but I got some for my birthday along with a package of practice tips. got frusterated with my Muzzys one day. kept shooting left and tried these and deadly accurate! then I shot a doe on bow opener and the size hole I put in her was unreal. only went 30 yards before piling up. im a believer and I wont be switch to anything else

+1 on the rage 2 blade.  I showed pictures of the deer I shot last year and the hole these things put in deer are huge.  They have always been accurate and have never failed me yet.

Muzzy three blade, 100 grain.  I don't have to worry about it not opening or opening in flight, plus it will bust through bone and puts a nice hole in the deer.

Rage 2 blade. Daughter killed 2 deer with a muzzy 2 blade when she was only shooting 38 pounds.  She is now shooting the rage 2 blade 40KE. They shoot just like a field point.

Rage 2 blade. The first doe I shot with them I could see the blood shooting out of the deer! That made me a believer.

Muzzy 100g 3 blade never had an issue with them shooting different than my target points if i was going to switch i would either go toxic or reepers

I shoot a different broad-head each year, sometimes two depending on how the season goes, with the exception of I don't shoot Muzzy or Rage and that's because a person gets tired of hearing "I can't shoot thru bone" or "The hole and blood were totally gruesome". "I have the finger of God on the end of my arrow!"  :rotflmao: This year I'm starting off with 100 gr. Hammerheads. There are plenty I have shot and really liked, there are plenty I won't use again.  :archery:

i see no reason to change when the muzzy's get the job done and won't break the bank

im using the new Rage 2 blade hypodermic. same great broadhead with a little better design. the tip is now better for angled shots and the old rubber o ring is replaced with a plastic shock collar. these take less KE to open so theres less risk of a blade not deploying. im excited to try them out.

Wasp Jackhammer for a few years and really liked them. They are tough and do a great job. I switched to G5 T3's two yrs ago and really haven't had allot of experience with them but I don't really like the blade retention. This year I am trying the NAP Killzone 2".
