Leeches are still available in the Ely area!

We have had several customers stop in the bait shop, asking if we (or anyone) still have leeches.
They have been told by twin cities area bait shops that there are no leeches around, anywhere.
Most shops in the Ely area still have them by the pound.
Bottom line is bait shops in southern Minnesota/twin cities will run out of leeches earlier than shops in the northern Minnesota/Ely area.
One more time to eliminate any confusion:
Leeches are still available by the pound in Ely, and should be for at least two weeks, maybe longer.
