Some deer are just lucky
I took this picture this Saturday morning.  This deer doesn't know how lucky she is to be still walking.  I was tempted to throw something at her just to train her to be more cautious.  Next time she walks a few feet in front of a hunter it may be curtains.

You are just too good at scent control.
I have had the same situation, deer standing 10yds away in a clearing, oblivious to my in the stand.  They have never been 10pt bucks though.  :doah: Go figure - they are smarter than that.
