I have a rare weekend off of work - and looking at the weather, I have 2 options....
Head up to the hunting land and try to get an arrow through a big ole buck, but I will also be saying next to Minnewaska, so I could get some ice fishing in during the afternoon/night.
ORRRRR......
I could stick around the cities and try to find some fish around the lakes up here.

I would not look forward to sitting in a tree in -10 degree weather, but with this quick ice, my fishing gear isn't all ready yet.
Do we think the deer will be moving this weekend - there are huge bucks out on the land, but when ive been out there, the weather never cooperated.  I also have Dec 17-22 off, so my hopes was to get up there and hunt then, but there is no promise the weather will be nicer that week.

:happy1:  WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?!?   I am torn!

The wind would be my determining factor.  Real windy and I'd be fishing.

Let's see, heated fish house or exposed tree stand at -10 ---- humm,,,,  Not to much of a decision for me.   :campfire:

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.

I decided to stick around the cities and fish!  I will be headed out to Bald Eagle on Saturday and Medicine Lake on Sunday.

 :cold:
Old man Winter has postponed my late season bow hunting for another week.  i think itll warm up a little and the deer will pattern in the snow - then I can pounce!  :woot:
