9 Year old girl shoots World Record Bear
Yes, this girl did shoot the bear.


This 9 year old girl from the Yukon killed the new world record brown bear on the Alaskan Peninsula in October, 2006. Skull size 33 1/16", 11'
9"
nose-to-tail. Estimated weight of 1,800 Lbs. No, this bear had not killed anyone. It was the girls first-ever bear hunt!

 ;D :o 8) WWOW! thats truly unbelievable !!  if she weighs 60 lbs. ? that wood be a 30 to 1 weight ratio to 1800 pounds.  good going for the young lady and her dad ! what a partener ship.

Not a world record, but a BIG bear.  Daughter of Larry Rivers, a excellent outfitter in AK.  He's got time, money, planes and know-how, a great combo for a kid to have.  She's been hunting all around the world and has taken a Marco-polo.  She's unbelievable and has a great Dad.
