Wheel House landings on Devils Lake.

Really want to start heading west to Devils lake but have no idea on where to start. Can anyone give me a arrow of direction on resorts that accomodate wheel houses with plowed roads. any info will be helpfull thank you

Im assuming you mean Devils Lake,Nodak...  Woodland resort is the only place I know of that plows out for wheelhouses like in Mn.  Not much snow on Devils lake though at this point wouldnt need plowed roads.  Best fishing is usually December and late ice.  Its so large its like fishing Leech with about 6 different lakes.. Lots of Northerns, walleyes and perch were great last year.  Pelican was the hot perch area last winter.  Varies every year though.  Sunken roads are the best for walleyes.  Its frozen over but haven't heard reports of people fishing much there yet, should be soon though with the good weather.  -10F sat , -18F sunday

You usually don't need a road on Devil's Lake. The wind keeps the snow off pretty well. Just bring some chains with and don't get caught in a blizzard.
