    • Fishing & Hunting South Dakota's Lake Oahe and Lake Sharpe
I guided a nice couple from Florida, Butch Collins and his wife for a one day limit of walleye staying on Lake Oahe and fishing in from 10 fow to 17 fow with spinner bouncer crawler rigs and then took Alexis Kee and her boys Gus and Uly out for a trip on Oahe catching a limit of nice walleye fishing with nightcrawler/bouncer rigs in 10 fow. The bite on Oahe is good with limits coming in from the dam all the way up to Mobridge and most presentations/baits are putting fish in the box. Average depths for fishing are from 10 fow to 20 fow. Sharpe is still putting out limits with the 15 inch slot now off until September making catching a limit easier. Smallmouth/northern/crappie and catfish continue to be bonus fish in many anglers live wells. The weather over the 4th was great for the most part so most boats coming to visit the Pierre area had a great time. Bug spray and sun screen should be on your list of things in the boat.
