This report is full of bad walleye bite information. The bite on both Oahe and Sharpe around Pierre has gone from good to bad this week especially for the walleye. I guided the John Hanson group of repeat customers along with repeat customers from Kansas the Sederlin Group to limited results. Both of these groups are favorites of mine but as far as walleye catching on both Sharpe and Oahe it was limited. Smallmouth Bass are going on Oahe if you land on them usually in around 30 fow. I got limit's of these for the Bob Gardner group from Colorado. Walleye have gone deep for the most part and are real hard to find up shallow and water conditions on Sharpe (dirty water) need to improve. I think some cold weather nights will get things back to normal. It is always real tough to be a fishing guide when the bite gets like this as all of these customers are great groups and normally go home with lots of fish and I feel down when I have to send them home with less than their limits. It just doesn't happen often on these lakes.
