It's getting closer......

One last trip to the rifle range slated for this week.  One gun left to sight in, and a couple others to check.  There's a new sense of urgency these days as the wind turns around out of the north, and the temps finally begin to drop.  An hour spent down in the man cave going through the mountains of gear seems to have a little more important purpose.  I keep giving stuff away to others who need it, and I still have way too much.  My internal alarm goes off around 5 every morning, and a hot cup of coffee and a ride around the area reveals deer in the fields, and a couple bucks sparring lightly.  Everyone's getting serious about this, including Mother Nature.  This is truly my favorite time of year.  I can't wait to drop a round into the Savage and head into the woods.  Good luck this year guys.  May the wind be in your face, the sun at your back, and the deer moving your way.
