Le Homme Dieu crappies in the late 80's in the spring where the best.

Christopherson's Bait & Tackle is probably the most widely used bait/tackle store in Alexandria.

There is Knotty Pine in Brandon (approx. 20 miles west of Alex. on I-94)

I can compile a list of area  bait shops if that is what you want.  Other than Christopherson's-I think Mills Fleet Farm is the only other "tackle shop" in town.

well... the holiday used to have bait.  not sure if they still do.  there is another bait shop across the bridge on the way to carlos, can't remember the name of it is, or if it's still there.

Christopherson Bait Shop(320) 763-3255309 3rd Ave E, Alexandria
Alexandria Outfitters LLC(320) 763-9598312 E Lake Geneva Rd NE, Alexandria
Bosek Bait(320) 834-22773321 County Road 22 NW, Garfield

Like I said on the phone earlier, Christophersons and the Holiday down the street, but here are a couple more I found.

How close to Alex do they have to be? There are some very busy shops in Osakis and near longbridge too.

Alexandria Outfitters is closed.... Christopherson's is probably the best bet in Alex. right on 3rd Ave by "Big Ole"
Opp's... Alex Outfitters has moved!  Still open...
