Big News from Ely- Bayfield
            Big News from Ely and Bayfield :doah:

 Today at 12:00 a.m.

Billed as "the best thing to ever happen to canoeing — or maybe the worst," a group of Ely canoe outfitters is set to introduce its idea for an "electric paddle" today.

The Original Ely Electric Paddle consists of a "small, but powerful and nearly silent battery-powered trolling motor" attached to the blade of the paddle — taking the work out of paddling the many lakes and rivers of the Boundary Waters.

"This will revolutionize the sport and bring millions of new visitors to Ely, the surrounding areas and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness," Ely Mayor Chuck Novak said in a news release. "Now canoeing this part of the world is accessible for nearly everyone."

thats awsome, must be the Glenn 57 line of outdoor equipment. They need to come out with a fishing rod with a fish attached to it for him also..
