Fishing great. Catching poor.  First run was just getting the boat going, after the quick run to town for a battery.

This evening was like being out after the plague. I was sitting there, and putting around looking at the sonar all by myself. Not a light and maybe one boat in the distance. No bites either.

Water was down to 56, any warm spots had disappeared.

We had 60 degrees in Pike bay today and near 60 in Big bay as we came in tonight. We had a very good opening weekend.  Eight people fishing and 8 limits of Walleyes and 4 big Perch.  I caught 4 slot fish ranging from 22 to 26 inches.  All of our fish were caught on slip bobber rigs tipped with minnows.
