We are heading to Bearhead State Park in a few weeks.  A RH idea.  What I wondered is since we will be coming from the north does anyone know what the road is like from Cook to this side of Tower?  OR the road 22 from Angora to this side of Tower.  It would save us some miles if it is a good blacktop road.  I might even take in the Soudan Mine tour while we are there.  Not sure though.  Sometimes it is nice to just sit in camp and relax.

Dont know of 22?? BUT if you get to Angoria you can take 1 over to Payla then 1 & 169  to Tower.Excellent roads. Bearhead SP does it have more than 1 entrance road?? Been a long time since I worked up that way.

Yup the road is 1 and or 22 from Angora.  Would save quite a few miles.  I looked at the map and I only see one entrance.  It is a road that is a few miles long and then turns to the right to the park.  OK Boar glad to hear about the mine tour.
