4th of july at cookies!

Man did we have a great time at cookies!! just an absolute gorgeous weeknd for weather and relaxation. Cookie set us up down by the lake side and we had some beautiful sunsets all weekend. We made friends with come of cookies longtime friends, Marty and his wife shelly and grand kids and wayne, hope I got that right cookie. these folks turned us on to awesome fireworks display Saturday night, we swam on the beach relaxed in the sun, enjouyed fine BBQ'n qusine, enjoyed wonder company that came down to visit once in awhile, and had a grand time on a grand lake. right cookie? I thank you so much cookie for all ya did. THANK YOU! I love your fire pit, none other like it. So much character.

we took th bog walk north of waskish, so cool how that board walk runs a mile out into a the biggest peat bog in the lower 48. real.cool info on the past era of truing to drain the bog for settlement. these pitcher plants are way cool.

Ya that is a great read.  It was in the Baudette newspaper a few months ago.  Makes me wonder if the dropped a few in a safe place would it help the moose yet or not?  I would like to go to Ponemah.  That town between the Reds.  I heard there is a dam there.  Anyone ever been there? 

Just got back from Ottertail for or fourth and went right past Cookies.  Haven't met him yet but in due time....
