Are both pics the same fungi? Try googling False Coral fungi. The pics enlarged are fuzzy and not having em in hand  tis tough.
The book I have is a pocket book, called Peterson Field guide to mushrooms. There are better books but they are large hard cover monsters.Mine fits in my mesh bag, daypack or a cargo pocket.I seldom carry it, I ID at home when I am inquisitive of what I dont know is eatable.

Get the peterson field guide to mushrooms about 20-25 bucks new.The second room may be a Bloody Agaric?? The book tells to scratch the room and see what color it bleeds. That book is full of ways to ID. That said I did say I dont go by the book for positive ID much!!  it can be dangerous,There are plenty eatables easily IDed
