    • Fishing & Hunting South Dakota's Lake Oahe and Lake Sharpe
I fished the Mike Pinerost group from around Omaha Ne for two days on Sharpe getting them a nice limit day two but not quite getting full limits day one. Caught the fish on crawlers/bouncers in around 5 fow along with a few fish on flicker shads. Then started a family trip with day one on Oahe. This trip produced 9 fish with the biggest a 26 inch healthy walleye and some 17 to 18 inch walleye and some catfish. Caught most of these fish in 20 fow out to 50 fow. More on this trip after I finish it. We saw three or four other boats on the big lake all day. That part of it is rewarding as spending time on Sharpe is very different with boats all over. The bite on Oahe is starting to get a little better and as colder nights bring water temps down should continue to improve.
