Well we came like a lion and so far are acting like lambs.  You can make excuses like the injury's but we have to overcome them.  Zimmer means buisness and want's to win.  So finally he released Walsh just a minute ago.  Haven't heard of a replacement yet.  Just happened.  good luck.

No, he's not solely responsible, but a kicker can win or lose a game with their kick...that';s their job. He's just too inconsistent and inaccurate, IMO. Look at his record. He's lousy. Missed some of the easiest ones out there. Compare  him to some other kickers. He's #28 out of 33. Bottom of the barrel. I woulda booted him last year. Ya, that's a pun.

That is the same thing you told me about your brain surgeon.  Personally I'd hold the surgeon responsible for messing up that bad.

Like Walsh or not I think it is a good way to get things going again.  Maybe this new kicker will get the team to smile a little after he makes a few kicks after the D gets an interception or two and more good things will happen.  May spark the Offense and the Defense.  Just hand me the Kool-Aid and I will drink it if it is purple.

Ya, I'm surprised I'm not purple.  Been drinking this for years.  I think Zimmer is dealing with a lot of injuries and I think he will get the best out of this team.  good luck.

Great game on Sunday!!!  Offense and defense played great.  Especially the defense.  That final sack was awesome.  Buck the announcer sucks more than usual.  Still living off his dad's name.  He might as well stay shaved with that half arse  beard trying to look like a real man.  Anyway, it was one of those games that kept you watching every minute.  Now to take on Detroit on Thursday to take over the division.  good luck.

It sent the AZ coach to the hospital with chest pains. He got out later in the day yesterday & is expected back on the sidelines for this weeks game. Got to agree RH , they looked much better on both sides of the ball. Especially the D after halftime

I just heard the Vikes let Hillman go and that Adrian can now start running at practice.  He could possible play in the last half of December.  Too bad, I just thought Hillman was coming around.

There has to be something internal we're not hearing about regarding this whole collapse. The ground game seemed ok sunday, was it discontent between Zimmer & Turner? Is it frustration with Zimmer? I know we have a ton of injuries but it couldn't have been just dumb luck we did so well to start. Lot's of mysteries going on behind the scenes I think.

I have the same feeling Hawg.  I think there was more to Norv leaving than we may ever know.  I can see flopping for a game after the bye week but not as big of a drop off like we saw.  I hope that is all behind us and we kick some but at Detroit.  The attitude was much better against the Cards.  Seemed like they were having fun again.  I sure would like to see Bradford throw the ball away more often.  That has ended lots of drives for us.  I do like him though.  GO Vikes

Would be nice for the D to light Stafford up like they did Palmer on Sunday. They used him as a tackling dummy. If you look back on some of the early games they won, it was special teams and D that won them. The Vikings got good field position (so Walsh could miss field goals) or by scoring outright, same thing that happened against the Cards. And they got some calls. Still a fun game to watch in spite of Buck and Aikmann babbling. :happy1:

AHA!!!  After further review the Vikes cut Hillman since they signed Weatherly to the active roster.  Weatherly is a rookie DE that we drafted in the seventh round and has been on the practice squad.

The first 5 games that we won, Sherman was calling the plays.  After the bye week Norv took the play calling away and he started to call them again.  Started to loose and boom he was gone.  now Sherman has his job.  We will see how it plays out.  Norv and Zimmer were close but this is a buisness.  Norv said that he could see his vision of his offense just were not compatible for the orginisation.  good luck.
