Here is the phone # for taking yourself off of the list for unauthorized credit checks. (Opt Out)

Certain companies will receive information based on your credit scores at the 3 major credit bureaus (Experian/Equifax/Trans Union)

They get this information and then offer you credit cards, Insurance or credit offers, every time this happens to you, your credit score is affected.

Call this # and choose to opt out for 5 years, your credit scores will no longer be affected by these unauthorized credit pulls.

This is not a scam, I have been using this option at work for the last year for some of my customers.

Have you ever wondered how these companies could offer you credit, credit cards or Insurance quotes without knowing your history, well they know a lot more than you think.

Call the # now, it only takes a minute to do.

After your done, call me for a free quote on refinancing your home, business or a simple purchase.  ;) ;D

Thanks I always wondered how they did that but always figured they just sent them out and you still had to qualify so it wasn't actually based on you credit score.. How the @#$@ can they pull your credit without your consent? what a bunch of BS.

I did some checking on the web about this and there is a website for opting out as well. It also has a FAQ section that explains alot. One being that these prescreened offers don't affect your credit score. It also has links to websites to attempt to stop other mailings, phone calls, any other junk you didn't ask to recieve. Take a look.
