Thanks I always wondered how they did that but always figured they just sent them out and you still had to qualify so it wasn't actually based on you credit score.. How the @#$@ can they pull your credit without your consent? what a bunch of BS.

I did some checking on the web about this and there is a website for opting out as well. It also has a FAQ section that explains alot. One being that these prescreened offers don't affect your credit score.It also has links to websites to attempt to stop other mailings, phone calls, any other junk you didn't ask to recieve.
