Darren Sharper's  tender ears apparently were offended by some blue language hurled in his direction by Rex Grossman as the Bears came from behind to beat the Vikings in September.

Here is the way Sharper likes it: Teammate Dwight Smith can yap all game, every game, as he always does. That's OK. But when an impudent player has the gall to yap back, Sharper  just can't handle it. You can't make it up. Grossman apologized to Sharper, while also reminding everyone that part of his rage at the end of that game was that Smith never shut up.



Speaking of trash talk, here's a nickname opposing players might want to try on Sharper: The Invisible Man. Other than a nice, though irrelevant, interception off Tom Brady, and cheap-shotting Lions receiver Roy Williams on the first play of the game, how many times has this guy really made his presence felt on the field this year?

Oh, wait. We forgot one: How about when the Invisible Man dropped that telegraphed interception _ and sure touchdown _ thrown by, yes, the IM's favorite QB, Grossman?
