so now da grand finale is 2 weeks away................

atlanta and new england in the big game. this round will be for 8 pts.

if there is a tie.........the tie breaker is as follows
1) pick the winning team
2) pick the scores for both teams........example new england over atlanta 24 -21.
3) the winner will be the differnece in the total score...........so if the actually score would be 24-23.......difference would be 1. whomever picks the closes score would break the tie!!!!!!!! UNDERSTAND???????

Maybe I am missing something here.  Ok so if my difference in scores for the tie breaker is 3 and someone elses difference is 8 how do we determine which one wins??

Must be the one that is closest to the difference of the actual score. So if the final score is 28-24 the difference is 4. If you picked a difference of 6 and someone elses is 5 they would win the tie breaker. That is what I am thinking anyway. Still could be a tie though. Hope smurfy can clarify.

Ok that sounds good JB.  I got it now.  You are the Commissioner Glenn.  We may need another step in the tiebreaker in case the difference is tied.

So:  #1 Pick Winner
       #2 Difference in scores picked is used
       #3 Winning teams score
       #4 Losing teams score
       #5 Combined score of both teams

Just a few ideas Glenn, trying to help out.  You tell us....

LPS, looking it over I see maybe a tie between the 2 currently on top. Basically in the event of a tie it will be the smallest margin of error of the scores.
