So,this might not be new to some but I live a sheltered life, who can give me some info on "Pig Wings" I love smoked ribs year around but these little pork shank ribs look meaty just like a chicken drum stick but neither the stores in my area have'em or saloons, they sure look like tasty morsels of bone in pork finger food for the up coming football games.

Thoughts?

My take, way too spendy for what ya get. They're just the trimmed ham shank of the piggy. Wanna do better? Get some boneless pig chops, or like I do, butterflied chops. Cut them into strips the size (width) of yer thumb. Smoke on the grill, wrap with bacon, slather in BBQ sauce...stuff face. Reb's take .... ;D

I agree Reb,something about bone in meat has more flavor in my book beef or pork, but these little pig wings look great and could be finger food during the ball games coming up.

I've done the pork strips like ya get in a asian resturant on a stick, but these babies have girth, just curious if they can be found in town and who has tried them.

They run an avg of about $15 or so for a dozen. They come smoked and ready to eat. Tyson and a few companies make them. Pretty sure Farmland does....Your butcher can order them anytime. If he can't, get a different butcher.

Reb,the box cost me $40($4/lb),I added "slap your mama" cajun seasoning, smoked with applewood for about  1hour@ 250deg,just enough to add flavor, won't lie these little morsels rule, meat fell off the bone tender, tender roast pork on a bone and very meaty. For some reason my pic off my phone won't download here, sorry.

Hey are the ones you found pre cooked? As good as they are I would like to find some not cooked and do my own rub.

Yup. Haven't seen 'em any other way, ever.
