Are you sure it's electrical?  Just some ideas......bad plugs, old gas, does it have a pull start also as I've heard of guys using that as it has more umph .  Last thing to try and this isn't recommended by the professionals is to spray some carb cleaner or starting fluid as it will run on that.

Check for spark first, Boar. Those Kill switches do go bad. Proceed from there as General said...make sure gas is getting to carbs.

OK; he must be inta the Fireball.   Clean, double-check and tighten your batt connections, and ground. Check solenoid ground, then see IF solenoid is engaging flywheel.  Dead cell in batt will do that, too...make suet batt is at full charge and doesn't have a dead cell.

This morning I replied but for some reason it didn't appear.  My response was:  are you sure you still have juice in your battery???  It doesn't take much juice to make fuel pump sounds but it takes a lot more to make the starter work...

And those big motors are a b__tch to pull over but even with an almost dead battery you should get it to go.  Put a charger on your battery.  I ended up with rotator cuff surgery trying to pull start my sled 3 years ago.  Now I charge the battery.  I will pull it twice but if it doesn't start I don't overdo it.  You aren't as young as you used to be my friend.  lolol

Yes new battery but does it still have a charge in it???   You could have something drawing it down.

Ok if you are sure the battery is charged then did you get all of the wires to the battery hooked up to it?  Or is there an inline fuse that may have pulled apart on one of those wires so the starter isn't getting energized???   And the kill switch is in the right position, as in pulled out not pushed in.

boar you got enough machines to warrent a cheap timeing light!!
Instead of the hassle of grounding a plug to a block an lookin for some dim spark I use a timeing light hook it up tape the trigger down,Point it towards you turn the engine or pull the manual start cord.So easy!!but 100% effective!!
And if you had a electric multi tester you could check the battery voltage and amperage for less than 10 bucks

ONLY  a 2 hr charge at 2 amps?? how many amps is the battery rated?? a 2 amp charge for only 2 hours didnt fully charge the batt. put a elec. multi tester on the batt!! see amperage and voltage.

Do you have a charger with a booster? or try jumping it. Maybe the new battery is bad.

ok so we  got it started by manually pull starting it, just need compression to get new fuel thru. runs great. but could it possiboy be a the switch. the switch complees to run the fuel pump cause we can hear it cycle plus the battery is running the the pump foi the efi. but its not completeling the circuit tot he starter. dose this make sense??

If all you did was put a new battery in it I would start at the battery. Try another battery. If that don't work then look at the switch. You say it was running when you put away and the only thing that change was the battery. that is where I would start. Good luck.

And like I said earlier.  Are you sure you didn't miss hooking a wire up to the battery that goes to the starter?

It sat for a time   right? Maybe the starter bendix is stuck from moistuer rusting,It dont take much to hamper the bendix.
If its easy hot wire the starter.
